| The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) wishes to share the space program with children and adults everywhere, even in the smallest communities. Therefore, The Space Place has formed partnerships in every state in the U.S. with community museums, libraries, planetariums, and even zoos and aquariums.
Click on the red rocket in your state (or one you are passing through) to locate the Space Place partners. Close the popup window (Ctrl+W in Windows or Option+W on a Mac) before clicking on another rocket.
Each of these places has a special display board or wall, with the beautiful Space Place borders, and a varying collection of NASA posters, stickers, and lithographs, supplemented with local astronomy or space science news, children's art or writing, or space-related models or crafts. The Space Place also provides the activity guides, patterns, and supplementary materials for quarterly "Club Space Place" activities. Community partners invite both children and adults to come together and have fun creating works of art, models, or games related to space exploration.
